Metal Road i-doc is in the works!

We began our work on the “Metal Road” interactive documentary in the beginning of May. Dr. Kathleen Ryan is working with Aboriginal Lens and TricksterFilms in beginning to design an i-doc that is both visually appealing and user friendly. Actual construction will hopefully start within the next week. Keep checking in for more “Metal Road” updates.

  1. Thank you Sarah for devoting the last several years of your life to craft this insightful documentary and for offering us all a window into the lives of these hardworking Navajo railroad workers. I am grateful to all of the men and women who allowed you to be the messenger to carry their stories into the world and I am grateful for the hard and dangerous work that they do. Thank you for answering all of our questions this evening at the KIMO following the screening of your film, and again, if I can help with future camera, sound, and post-production work, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me. Your work is inspiring. I think your comments about the challenges that Native People encounter when faced with racism and bigotry in our nation is definitely worth digging into (A possible future project?), now more than ever. Keep doing great things. Best!
